I was going to write about how I’m the new admin for the FIA, but I am unbelievably exhausted. So, more later. In the meantime, here’s the cover for the new fic there! I am writing D/G again! Yay! But this one is dark… y’all have been warned. Continue reading New Cover for New FIA fic!
So I HAVEN’T disappeared! 😉 But the thing is that having a blog hacked is a very disheartening experience. I wasn’t very enthusiastic about anything after that happened. Also, I’ve been concentrating on the writing a lot. 🙂 But I’m back! There will be more news soon!! Possibly some very exciting things coming up. 🙂
Just as a preview of some of what I’ve been working on, take a look at a very early version of Victoria above. Doesn’t she look REAL? Kind of creepy, isn’t it? 😉 Maybe she’s trying to escape the computer…
Well, kind of. I’m working on cover art for SatSD and developing characters. 🙂 While working on Victoria’s character, I decided to also create a Ginny. (I mean, they WERE built on the same base…) So that will be The Real Ginny Project. Here’s the first pic! There’s a long way to go with the character, but I do like the hair. It was a remarkable pain in the butt to render. For any Poser users out there, she’s built on a Miki 4 base. Kind of ironic that I’m not building Victoria on the Vicky base… but I don’t really like Vicky that much, even though there are about 46584098,000 products for her.
BTW. there WILL be more posts once this hacking horror is cleared up… (said hopefully)
Hi all! Here’s the latest cover for SatSD.:) They WILL get better… Nathaniel’s pants are enough to scare small children. But this gives you a rough idea.
I’ll start posting more– that being-hacked incident was not very encouraging to creativity. However, SatSD IS done– the beta version, anyway, it’ll be revised a lot! Much more very soon. And a new chapter of Malfoy In a Glass posted on FIA soon too.
Well, that’s what I promised my novel critique group, anyway… 😉 I’m not sure if I lost my mind DURING the writing of this book or if it’ll be gone AFTER the (first) finished version, but either way, I might have been nuts to promise it by that date. But I am determined! I’ll make it happen! Yay! Go me! (Waves the Happy Anise Writing Flag.)
And you know that there has to be a cookie crumb… 😉
Hi all! (waves)
I know it’s been horribly hideously long since my last post, but I’m in three writers’ groups, and in the novel writing group, Sex and the Single Devil is due on March 25!!! But miracles still exist in our time, and it WILL be done in its entirety. It’ll be more like 60,000 words, and the reason is that it’s now the first book in a trilogy. 🙂 Death Train is actually the second one, and I’m still playing around with ideas for the title of the third. So there WILL be more posts, and most of them will be about writing and related subjects. Case in point: The next post. Y’all seriously want to read that one.
Y’all may think you know creepy, but I’m here to tell you that you are wrong.
You may think this is creepy.
You may think THIS is creepy– although personally, I’m convinced that it’s more of a case of Mom being overzealous with the sewing machine and a strange sense of design.

NANO– THE LAST DAY! More about that later. For now…
COOKIE QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“All right,” said Ginny, her arms crossed. “Start talking.”
Too late, she realized that she’d spoken to this man as if she knew him. Not as if she’d only met him once.
His eyes narrowed. “Are you going to let me in, or am I expected to carry on standing in the rain?” he asked, in a voice that could have been more polite, in her opinion.
He sounded as if they already knew each other, or should have known each other, or it was her own damn fault if they didn’t know each other. Because one stranger didn’t talk to another stranger in that way.
“You’re not coming in here until I get a few answers,” she said.
“In the interests of not dying of hypothermia, fire away.”
“I saw you this morning,” she said. “Didn’t I?”
“You did,” he said. “I tried to talk to you then, but you disappeared into the fog before I had a chance to say a single word.”
“Okay…” She chewed on her lower lip. “What did you want to say to me, anyway?”
“Let me in,” he said. “And you’ll find out.”
“No,” she said. “I’m here all by myself, and I’m not going to let in someone I don’t even know!” Too late, she kicked herself inwardly. That was exactly the kind of thing that the doomed girl always said to the serial killer just before he whipped out the axe and started chopping.
“I want to talk to you, Ginny Weasley.” He fixed her with those strange, crystal-like gray eyes.”And you need to know what I can tell you.”
The world wavered around her, and she clutched onto the windowsill for support.
He knew her name.
She didn’t, couldn’t know him. But she was all too afraid that he knew her.
That’s da Vinci’s Lady with a Ferret, of course. Apropos, don’t you think, considering who Ginny is talking to? 😉
